Water Softener Installation in Cheshire.
The water supply at this pub in Widness had a hardness of 340 and was leaving scale on the glass wear after it had been through the glass washer.
JN Environmental attended site and took samples of the raw water to the UKAS accredited lab where the results also showed a small amount of bacteria present in the water.
We returned to site and installed a water softener, a sediment filter and a UV sterilizer. The client and their customers now benefit from safe drinking water free from bacteria and also no more unsightly scale marks on the glass wear.

Spring Water Supply Installation In Oldham, Lancashire.
The spring water supply at this private residence in Uppermill, Saddleworth already had a treatment system installed but hadn't been serviced by the installer for a few years. The pH was 6.0 so when we attended site and carried out a free water analysis this flagged up. JN Environmental returned to site and fitted a Juraperle pH filter to raise the pH and replaced the noisy old pump with a DAB E.Sybox mini booster pump.

Ultra Violet Water Filter Upgrade in Bury, Greater Manchester.
The UV water filter at this golf club in Bury was massiveley under spec'd by the original installer. The maximum flow rate it could deal with was 22lpm with the pump giving over 50lpm.

The Autotroll filter head on the old filter had stopped working, it was constantly sending water to the drain which was putting uneccessary demand on the booster pump. Stream Water Supply System Upgrade in North Wales
In North Wales this Guest House already had an existing system that had been poorly maintained. The UKAS laboratory results showed slight levels of iron and manganese, also the results showed very dangerous levels of bacteria due to it being located within farmland.
We installed two pHlockrite pH vessels to raise the level of the Ph to drop out the small levels of iron and manganese. We also replaced the 5 micron particulate filter, the UV lamp and the UV quartz sleeve as it hadn't been removed in many years.
Also whilst onsite we carried out a full chlorination on the cold water storage tanks and associated pipework to ensure all bacteria had been eliminated.

Water Softener Installation in Marsden, West Yorkshire.
The borehole water supply at a private residence in Marsden, West Yorkshire had a high level of hardness in the water. The most economical and cost efficient option was to install a water softener. Spring Water Filter Installation in Bury, Lancashire.
At a farm in Bury, Lancashire the water was supplied by a spring. JN Environmental sampled the water and sent the samples to a UKAS accredited laboratory for full chemical and bacteria analysis. The results showed the water had bacteria such as coliforms and e-coli. The results also showed a low pH of 5.6 which is acidic.
We attended site and installed a pHlockrite pH media vessel to raise the pH, a 20 micron string filter to remove any sediment, a 5 micron carobon filter to remove the slight yellow colour from the water, and a UV Sterilizer to kill any bacteria within the water supply.
We also carried out a clean and chlorination of the cold water storage tanks and associated pipework to ensure all bacteria was eliminated.

Borehole Water Supply Installation in Lancashire
The customer at a private residence in Rochdale, Lancashire called us because the sanitary wear in the bathroom was becoming discoloured due to the iron and manganese content in the water supply.
The water analysis from the UKAS accredited laboratory showed a slightly high levels of iron and manganese in the water.
We attended site and fitted a CR200 Water Conditioner to reduce the iron and manganese content through an ion exchange process. The filter automatically regenerates using salt and will also soften the water reducing scale build up around the taps and in the kettle. Also fitted was a string filter to remove particulates down to 5 microns and a UV Sterilizer to kill any potential bacteria from the water supply.
